Perfect Sword in Pre-searing 15-22 DMG
Well once again I hope that this thread is in the right place.
I have been trying to figure out a way to get a perfect sword into presearing the LEGAL way and I think that I might have found it! There was something called the Eye Of The North Prerelease Pack or something like that. If I can get my grubby little hands on one: 1) Will the code still work? 2) Will the sword, staff and bow appear in my inventory every time I type /prerelease or /bonus? 3) Can I get the sword in my inventory anytime that I like or is it a one shot? 4) Does anyone have one of these already and is it worth the cost for an exclusive weapon in presearing? Thanks for your input everyone. |

if you can get a prerelease pack code then yeah, all that works. You can only have one of each bonus item in your inventory at a time, but if you destroy them you can always summon another. They are quite useful in Pre, for sure.
Are they worth the cost? Well I got my bonus pack really cheap, so yeah. Dunno how much they would go for now... |

I hope it helps:
I have maxed weapons in pre. I got them as a bonus items for prophecies collectors edition. They appeared with using /bonus command. However I am not sure if it will be the same for GWEN items. My guess will be yes but it is just a guess. |

I dunno if you can still add them, but I run around with all those nice weapons in pre. You can get them anytime you like, so feel free to delete them to make room. It's a nice little bonus, but imo its more fun to find the max sword for pre. I think its like 14 or something...

1)Yes
2)Yes 3)Yes, but only while in an outpost. 4)No, and it'll be hard to find. Ebay would be your best bet. |

I had an extra code for the GWEN pre-release weapons, and when I hooked my gf up with an account a week ago we added it and it works just fine.
So if you can get your hands on one, then yes it will still work. |

Thanks Guys...
I just Bought one on e-bay for like 10 bucks with shipping. The guy has a rating in the 2,000's and says that it comes sealed in the original box. I bought the bonus pack and a new slot at the online store but this is not available in the online store anymore. I can't wait to smash away on some charr with a lvl 17 war and the fire imp. I am hoping for 3 minute boss runs. the savage nornbear - I had the 12-16 Dmg Sundering 20/18 short sword 13^50 of Charrslaying 18% for 9 months or so. It was fun for a while but got old. I really wanted a max sword. I sold it cheep for 25 Black dye -175,000 gold. I was reading that I can slap a pommel on the Icy Glacial Sword so I am going to start to look for another 18% vrs charr pommel so that the sword will do 18 -26 damage. Should then be a walk in the park as I DL to lvl 19 and 99% to LDoA. If I get lvl 20 then I loose the fire imp and would not want to do that since it takes no drops from me and does over 80 dmg right now per hit. |

prerelease/bonus weapons are very helpful in pre, you can kill charr very easily with those things, specially as a ranger with the flatbow and box attack they die fast.

As a side note, at level 19 you do collossal damage with a max damage weapon in pre, why would you miss out on LDoA for some redundant damage x_X.

You can just buy the $5 upgrade to the Game of the Year edition in the in-game store, and get a ton of bonus weapons that way...

thanks guys..
Skyy High - I did buy the bonus weapons but the Hammer is useless. There is one skill for hammer in pre and it is useless. I do not want to delete my War as it is lvl 17 and I have already invested time to dling on it. My toon is also going into his second year and I like BD presents cause there is a premium on them in pre as there are only so many people with perma pre toons. Dei Gracia - How did you get the sword deleted from your account? is it not that you type /bonus or /preorder and then it come into your inventory. I am confused please explain... |

Yes they work and are extermely helpfull, Rangers are the most common proffesion in pre using a /bonus weapon, they can take out a Charr in 2-3 hits at level 12-14.
